 I am so excited to say I've official been a patron to Sala Salon (Aveda's new salon in Napa).
I live in Vallejo and have yet to find a successful salon that meets all my requirements- aka more often then not something goes wrong; such as she's late, overbooks, doesn't show up, doesn't fully accomplish my wants, etc. AND I always leave with a style that I want to immediately wash out because it's nothing like I wear my hair.
In any event I visited Hannah at Sala salon today, with the help of the director Lee and another employee (sorry didn't catch her name?) I successfully ended up feeling completely pampered. They have awesome ice cold tea to drink and are fully attentive to achieving the right thing.
I found the pricing to be very reasonable (especially since it's on the trendier side). Also, there is a shop up front with Aveda products. I opted for some hair gunk. Yippee!
Essentially- thumbs up.
P.S. though I have not sampled yet- they also provide waxing, makeup artists, facials, & message. |

Great first experience with Lee. He really knows what he's doing, and pays attention. While he charges a premium (for Napa), I felt that I got what I paid for. He's an experienced pro who takes his job seriously.
Not to mention the fact that it's an Aveda salon. Great products. Nice to have this place right downtown. |

This was my first visit and I am so happy to have found a great stylist in Napa. Her name is Carmen and she new exactly what to do with my hair. The owner Lee is super nice along with the rest of the staff. Can't wait to go back. Thanks Carmen. |

Sala is a fantastic Aveda concept salon in downtown Napa. Perfect for a quick treatment or a quick purchase. The salon is absolutely gorgeous, with wonderful amenities and a peaceful ambience. They also know their Aveda products very well and are able to recommend the right product for "challenging" hair types, like mine. |

I want to say thank you for a wonderful experience at Sala Salon before our wedding at the Auberge. I was a little nervous about the weather when we first arrived in Napa, but the staff at Sala helped to take my mind off the rain that was falling outside! The wedding turned out to be beautiful, and the sun came out while I was walking down the aisle! I loved my hair and make-up, and so did Ryan! The girls’ hair all looked great, as well! Thank you for letting us bring lunch into your salon…it was the only thing we all ate until dinner that evening! We had a wonderful time at the salon, and we are so happy that we chose to come to Sala for our wedding hair and make-up. We hope you are all doing well, and please tell everyone there thank you from all of us! Take care!

Our family is safe and sound back in Indianapolis. I wanted to write and thank you for the wonderful, personal service that you gave to all of us, especially Jessica. Her wedding photos are beautiful as a result. Many thanks to your staff and Lee, who showed a sincere interest in providing the girls with the hair style they desired and the perfect makeup for Jessica.
I must admit that when I first contacted your salon, I was trying to call another Napa salon that I had received info from on the internet. But when I told your gal at Sala what I was looking for, she said that you all could accommodate us, no problem. Thank heavens. It was meant to be.
Thank you also for sending the menus and allowing us to save time and have lunch in the salon. Best of luck to you and your new business. If our satisfaction is any clue, you will be a great success.
